Spreadsheets are great until they become the system
A spreadsheet becomes risky when multiple people edit it, formulas break, rows represent real work, and there is no clear workflow state.
Map the workflow first
Before building screens, define who enters information, who reviews it, what changes status, and what output the business needs.
Keep exports available
Replacing a spreadsheet does not mean abandoning spreadsheet comfort. A good app can still export useful views when needed.
